Job summary

The Museum of Discovery & Science in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a part-time Guest Services Associate to support IMAX ushering, box office, and sales in the Café or Explore Store. You will help deliver the best museum experience and keep the ticket office operating efficiently.

Candidates should have prior customer service and sales experience with strong communication skills. Availability on days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required; wage starts at $15 per hour.

Will work as an IMAX Usher, Box Office Cashier or Sales Associate in the Café or Explore Store. Deliver the best IMAX and museum experience to guests. Perform assigned job duties at the highest level of efficiency to ensure that the ticket office is operating at its optimum. Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous customer service and sales experience. Good communications skills. Ability to be friendly, helpful, and kind. Must be able to work under pressure in constantly changing conditions. Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Wage starts at $15.00/ Hour
