Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a friendly and responsive Guest Services Agent for the Charlotte area. You will be the primary contact for guest requests, inquiries, and in-room dining orders, ensuring a high level of service and timely follow-up.

Responsibilities include answering calls, coordinating with hotel departments, inputting orders in MICROS POS, maintaining logs, and providing guests with accurate information about amenities and local attractions. Shift runs 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel systems and POS software, such as MICROS.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to guest calls promptly and professionally, providing solutions or dispatching service requests as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill guest needs, documenting and following up to ensure timely resolution.
• Take in-room dining orders, demonstrating strong menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
• Accurately input and process orders through the Point of Sale system, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed call logs, guest request tracking, and daily communication records for each shift.
• Provide guests with accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and area services.
• Monitor and manage outstanding guest requests, ensuring completion before shift end.
• Follow established emergency procedures and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all situations.
• Uphold confidentiality and security of all guest and hotel information.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety and operational standards.
