Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, handle inquiries, and manage check-in and check-out procedures. You will reserve rooms, respond to guest questions, and contribute to a smooth, welcoming hotel experience.

The role requires excellent customer service, familiarity with reservations, and the ability to coordinate with housekeeping and other departments. A minimum high school diploma or GED is expected; benefits include health coverage and 401K.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest-related positions.
• Experience in the hospitality industry, hotels, restaurants or similar in various roles preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and efficient manner and handle inquiries.
• Check‑in/out guests and reserve rooms accurately.
• Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations and information.
• Use upselling techniques to sell room nights and increase occupancy.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments as needed.
• Process cash transactions and manage billing for guests and groups.
• Follow safety procedures and report any suspicious activity.
