Job summary

The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a Guest Services Agent to ensure a warm welcome and efficient front desk service for guests. The role involves registering guests, handling inquiries, and coordinating with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless experience.

You will assist with payments, room changes, and reservations while maintaining a tidy front desk and lobby. Weekend and holiday shifts are required in this dynamic urban hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma preferred.
• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and check guests in/out efficiently and courteously.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Handle payments, room assignments, and reservation changes accurately.
• Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure timely room readiness and service needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
