Job summary

Staypineapple in Seattle is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent to greet guests and be the face of the hotel from arrival onward. You will ensure exceptional service from check-in through departure and handle requests with a positive, can-do attitude.

You will assist guests with luggage, share local knowledge, and coordinate room moves and late checkouts while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and a smile. Join a dynamic, service-driven team at Staypineapple.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (can acquire after hire).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Polite and positive interaction with all hotel guests and team members.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
• Passion to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and rate/types of available rooms; respond to guest requests and provide welcome beverage and barista services as needed.
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Act as a reference for guests needing assistance or information, including transportation needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas, venues and attractions.

In addition to generally spreading joy, you’ll be ensuring guests are receiving great customer service from the time they exit their cab to entering their room and everything in between.

What To Expect

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

• Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and rates and types of available rooms as well as responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Act as a point of reference for guests that require assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements. This includes their transportation needs.
• Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel as well as the surrounding areas, venues and attractions.

Your Experience And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (can acquire after hire).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to effectively interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
