Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a friendly Barista to join our team at our Seattle location. You will prepare and serve drinks and food items in a warm, inviting atmosphere, even during early hours, helping guests start their day.

You will relay coffee region knowledge to customers, take orders, brew drinks, run food, and help maintain inventory. Experience in fast-paced hospitality and strong customer service are valued; the role offers part-time hours and tips.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler’s Permit and MAST Permit required.
• Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
• Understand and apply safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Relaying your understanding of coffee and tea regions and the differences in flavor and blends to customers.
• Taking orders at the cafe counter and dining room and conveying to team for preparation.
• Making coffee drinks and other morning beverages for guests.
• Running food for guests and bussing tables and helping with glassware and dishes.
• Maintaining inventory by replenishing coffee beans and food supplies and stocking brewing equipment.
• Working within a small team for excellent guest experiences and team camaraderie.
• Controlling cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.

What To Expect

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

Your Experience And Qualifications
