Job summary

Lakeview Hospital seeks a Guest Service Specialist to welcome patients and visitors, assist with wayfinding, and coordinate with volunteers and the communications desk. You will also escort wheelchair users and provide support to team members as needed.

Located at the hospital front desk and in the communications booth, you will monitor safety equipment, respond to calls, and liaise with security guards by phone and radio, while ensuring privacy and courteous service at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities within time constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to privacy and confidentiality laws, policies, and procedures.
• Proficient in using MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, guests, and team members with a warm welcome.
• Provide wayfinding assistance and coordinate wheelchair escorts as needed.
• Collaborate with volunteers and the communication desk for smooth operations.
• Support security and front desk operations, including after-hours screening and communication.
