Job summary

Tupelo Honey in Frisco, TX is seeking a Guest Service Manager to lead front-of-house operations and deliver first-class guest service. You will oversee dining room staff, ensure service standards, and manage catering/to-go activities to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

The role requires at least 3 years of FOH management experience, strong communication, and reliable teamwork. A 21+ age minimum and Serve Safe certification are expected as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of front-of-house service experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Positive, proactive teamwork attitude.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with staff, guests and vendors.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Working knowledge of the English language.

The Guest Service Manager ensures our guest experience begins and ends with exceptional service. Tupelo Honey seeks a passionate individual who can manage high-volume business while providing first class guest-centric service. The position manages all FOH service and support staff and is responsible for creating Tupelo Honey loyal customers and acknowledging and thanking our fans and repeat guests. The Guest Service Manager will be responsible for meeting operational guidelines and ensuring profitability of the store.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversight of Dining Room Service staff
• Responsible for adherence to all Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and Bar service standards.
• Responsible for catering/to-go execution and delivery.
• Responsible for performance management of servers and support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be 21 years of age.
• At least 3 years’ experience in front of house service environment as service or management personnel.
• Must possess a positive, proactive, constructive teamwork attitude.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all managers, employees, guests and purveyors at all business volume levels.
• Must have a working knowledge of the English language.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to move and process information quickly.

As a salaried manager, you will be required to provide proof of your current Serve Safe Certification. If you do not have a certification, or your certification is expired, – you will be responsible for purchasing and completing your certification program within 30 days from your date of hire and providing proof of certification to the Human Resources department. Once your original certification has expired, your Serve Safe recertification will be provided by Tupelo Honey Cafe at no cost to you.
