Job summary

European Wax Center is seeking a Guest Service Associate to be the first and last impression for guests in Hillsboro, OR. This on-site role focuses on selling wax passes and delivering a superior guest experience, with emphasis on product knowledge and promotions.

You will handle front-desk duties, educate guests on our services, and maintain a clean, welcoming center while adhering to corporate policies and participating in team activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–2 years related experience or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Sell wax passes to guests.
• Open and close the center procedures.
• Manage guest flow and assist with questions; maintain the Reservation Book.
• Educate guests on European Wax Center's products and Strut 365, demonstrate benefits of Wax Passes and waxing consistency.
• Maintain front-of-center areas: restock shelves and brochures.
• Inform guests about current in-center promotions.
• Check your schedule weekly and arrive on time in the proper dress code with nametag.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures.
• Participate in community events and street team marketing when requested.
• Attend weekly Strut Sessions and engage on Strut Bloomfire by commenting on posts.
• Create a memorable guest experience using EWC terminology and tailored scripts.
• Maintain and exceed center and individual goals; keep the center clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Selling wax passes.
• Opening and closing procedures of the center.
• Managing the flow of guests in and out of the center and assisting with questions as needed. TheReservation Book regarding the guest's requests and associate's availability.
• Responsible for educating all guests on European Wax Center's product portfolio, Strut 365™ anddemonstrating products on guests, and benefits and savings of Wax Passes and consistency withwaxing.
• Responsible for maintaining the front of the center, including, but not limited to, restockingproduct shelves and refilling brochure and card holders.
• Responsible for educating guests on current in-center promotions.
• Responsible for checking their schedule on a weekly basis.
• Responsible for arriving to work on time wearing the appropriate dress code and nametag.
• Responsible for following all corporate policies and procedures.
• Participation in community events and street team marketing when requested.
• Participate in all weekly Strut Sessions (If Strut Session is on a day associate is notscheduled, the associate will attend a minimum of 1 Strut Session per month).
• Participate on Strut Bloomfire by actively commenting on questions and posts.
• Responsible for creating a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoringthe scripts and standard responses while working in the location.
• Responsible for maintaining and exceeding center and individual goals.
• Responsible for center cleanliness
• Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsKnowledge and Skill Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; or one – two years related experience or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
