Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to encourage loyalty for our Players' Club and assist guests on the casino floor.

The role emphasizes excellent service, member recruitment, and clear communication. You will educate guests about the point system, promote club benefits, and support casino hosts with guest development initiatives, ensuring a positive guest experience at our Dubuque location.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age minimum.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years in customer service.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexible schedule.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and player tracking systems.
• Able to obtain required certifications/licenses.

Responsibilities

• Encourage customer retention and loyalty and recruit new Players' Club memberships.
• Increase rated play and attend to guests' needs on the casino floor.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote Players' Club benefits and events.
• Instruct customers on the Players' Club point system and the proper use of the club card.
• Assist Casino and Slot Hosts with Player development efforts and events.

Job Description

Through direct contact, direct mail, telemarketing, and written correspondence, encourage customer retention and loyalty. Recruit new memberships for the Players' Club, increase rated play, and attend to guests' needs. Circulate on the casino floor assisting guests with questions and requests.

• Provide excellent customer service and promote Players' Club benefits and events.
• Recruit new customers and enhance current customer relationships through various methods such as direct mail, telemarketing, and written correspondence.
• Instruct customers on the Players' Club point system, awarding prizes and proper use of the club card.
• Assist Casino and Slot Hosts with Player development efforts and events

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years experience in customer service.
• Must have excellent oral and written skills and exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be flexible in work schedule.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, e-mail, and player tracking systems.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
