About the Role

We are seeking a Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Office Agent at Courtyard Houston Rice University. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist guests with check-in and check-out efficiently.
  2. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  3. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  4. Process payments accurately and comply with hotel policies.
  5. Coordinate with hotel departments to address guest needs.
  6. Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  7. Maintain accurate records in the property management system.
  8. Upsell hotel services and promote amenities.
  9. Follow safety protocols to ensure security.
Qualifications
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in hospitality or retail.
  • Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (PMS).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle conflicts calmly and effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, including evenings and special shifts.
