Position: Guest Service Agent (Part Time)

Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Medical Center, 6800 Main Street, Houston, TX 77030

Overview

A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting, registering, and checking out guests, ensuring an outstanding guest experience while supporting the hotel's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, complete registration, and assign rooms, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer system, confirming guest details, and providing welcome packets.
  • Assist with check-out procedures, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, convert foreign currency, and manage gift certificates.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and general information to answer guest inquiries.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions.
  • Relay messages and manage guest communications efficiently.
