Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Guest Screening Services Representative to greet and badge patients and visitors, screen in, and support the flow in waiting areas. You will also round, survey, and assist as directed by leadership to ensure a smooth patient experience.

In this role, you will resolve customer service issues while upholding UCSF Health values and policies, and you may escort guests as needed while coordinating with the Transport Department for safe movement.

• Must be able to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with staff, patients, and families.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, screen in, and badge patients and visitors.
• Round, survey, and assist in waiting areas as directed.
• Troubleshoot customer service issues and provide best outcomes for patients and guests.
• Escort patients using wheelchair if needed and coordinate with Transport Department.
