Job summary

Caesars Entertainment seeks a Security Officer at Flamingo Las Vegas to protect guests and assets. You will escort customers, assist authorities, perform inspections, and maintain incident records. The role requires alertness, writing skills, and teamwork in a fast-paced casino environment.

You must be 21+, able to pass required certifications, and work varied shifts. This position involves patrolling indoor/outdoor areas, responding to emergencies, and upholding all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Two years experience in a position with direct guest contact required.
• Prefer individual with two years police, military, or casino security experience.
• Prior experience in a position with direct guest contact is preferred.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs.
• Must be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), First Aid & CPR certifications.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must present a well groomed appearance.
• Must undergo eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training.
• Must be able to prepare effective written reports.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees.
• Gives directions and provides escort to customers in need.
• Provides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other administrative hearings.
• Makes chip fills, jackpot verifications.
• Regularly provides escorts of money and persons in money-handling positions. Provides first aid, including CPR when necessary.
• Patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security. Interviews, investigates and documents all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy.
• Mints lost and found detailed descriptions of people and incidents.
• Enforces all company policies and procedures.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
