Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will patrol the property, respond to incidents, and assist in emergencies to protect operations and guest experience.

Responsibilities include patrolling public areas, interviewing individuals, and notifying management of safety concerns. A background check is required, and the role works on a part-time schedule in Indianapolis, with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security, loss prevention, or guest-facing safety role preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms to maintain visible security presence and deter incidents.
• Investigate disturbances, thefts, or complaints by interviewing involved individuals.
• Respond to emergencies, fires, accidents, and safety concerns swiftly and calmly.
• Assist management and local authorities during incidents and recover property left by guests who may have left without settling accounts.
