Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Room Inspector (Supervisor) to lead our housekeeping team and ensure rooms meet brand standards. The role supervises floors, inspects rooms daily, and trains staff to uphold cleanliness and safety policies.

You will coordinate staffing, prepare inventories, and report supply needs while maintaining strong communication with the front desk and management. Prior supervisory housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure.
• Ability to follow direction and instructions.
• Ability to read in English and print simple sentences.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise floors and inspect rooms before turnover.
• Train and coach housekeeping team members.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are met at all times.
• Coordinate daily activities and staffing.
• Prepare weekly inventory and report discrepancies.
• Communicate room status to front desk and divisions.
• Maintain safety and brand standards; assist as needed.
