Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Rooms or Housekeeping Inspector to oversee cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. You will work with housekeeping staff to uphold high standards and guest satisfaction, conducting inspections, providing coaching, and reporting findings to management.

The role requires strong detail orientation, supervision experience, and familiarity with PMS systems; flexibility to work varied shifts is expected in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
• Experience in housekeeping or related roles, with 1–2 years in supervisory/inspector position.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with PMS and ability to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
• Identify maintenance issues and coordinate prompt resolution.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff on procedures and safety.
• Provide feedback and coaching for performance.
• Maintain records of room inspections and cleanliness scores.
• Communicate inspection results to management and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including OSHA guidelines.
