Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort is seeking a housekeeping associate to maintain and clean public and employee areas, ensure towels are stocked in locker rooms and spa, and remove all dirty linens from bins.

You will communicate with the housekeeping team and other departments, deliver excellent guest service, follow safety and grooming standards, and support various housekeeping tasks as needed.

This role emphasizes a positive, energetic team attitude and adherence to the resort’s environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and be insurable by the Resorts policy, a plus

Responsibilities

• Initiate and aid in effective communication between housekeeping and all other departments.
• Provide great guest service to internal and external guests.
• Keep radio, cart and keys safe and secure at all times.
• Respond immediately to all pages received.
• Maintain the locker rooms, pre-shower’s and remove dirty linens where applicable.
• Maintain the surface of the pool deck, windows, garbage and the exterior of the slide.
