Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Housekeeper to clean guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining carts, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting with other hotel areas as needed while adhering to safety policies and completing required training. The role emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, and high cleanliness standards across all areas of the hotel.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Assists guests and provides reasonable accommodations in response to requests when possible.
• Complies with safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes all required Extended Stay University training.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
