Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to clean guest rooms in line with company standards and procedures. You will help maintain cleanliness in rooms, carts, and laundry areas while assisting guests and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to company standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as necessary per direction.
• Reports maintenance issues to front desk or manager on duty.
• Reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room to front desk and manager on duty.
• Assists guests and provides reasonable accommodation when possible.
• Complies with safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes Extended Stay University training.
• Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
