Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and welcoming guestrooms, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will carefully clean rooms, replace linens, and restock supplies while upholding guest privacy and safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to respond promptly to guest requests, and physical tasks such as bending and lifting.

• Must be very responsive to guest requests and able to communicate easily with guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned rooms to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Verify and visually inspect all rooms daily, including vacant maintenance (VM) and vacant ready (VR) rooms; report discrepancies.
• Recheck rooms at departure times and report room status for efficient turnover.
• Report maintenance needs to Engineering or Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure timely repairs.
• Knock and announce before entering rooms, showing courtesy and respect for guest privacy.
• Enter rooms, remove trash, report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Change linens and make beds per brand standards to create inviting spaces.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms (shower doors, walls, mirrors, tubs, toilets, floors).
• Dust items, vacuum floors, clean drawers, and check under beds for tidiness.
• Restock housekeeping cart for next day’s use.
