Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Denver, CO is seeking a Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team. You will clean guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring guests receive the Sonesta standard of service and a clean, welcoming environment.

This non-exempt, hourly role offers pay ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour and requires morning, evenings, weekends, and holiday availability. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and fluency in English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Sonesta Service standards in all interactions with guests and clients according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, trash, etc.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed so rooms may be sold or occupied.
• When assigned to laundry, monitor supplies and operate washers/dryers as per standards; inspect linens for damage.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities; assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Handle all lost and found items according to established procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
