Job summary

Sonesta Hotels in Denver is seeking a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and public spaces, and support the on-site laundry as needed. The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and operates as a non-exempt (hourly) position.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a full-time opportunity at the Denver Sonesta Downtown property, offering benefits and growth within a global hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred.
• Regularly standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions per G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas per standards; make beds, dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, remove trash.
• Notify supervisor when service is complete; report rooms unable to be serviced.
• When assigned to laundry, operate washers/dryers and manage linens.
• Minimize waste of supplies across housekeeping areas.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects; report needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items per procedures.
• Promote teamwork and coordination with shifts and management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
