Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to support the Housekeeping Management Team in cleaning guest rooms and public areas, and potentially assist in the laundry facility, adhering to brand standards for timely, clean, and safe guest experiences.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and a commitment to Sonesta’s service principles. Competitive pay with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Background in extended stay industry preferred.
• Fluent English reading/writing preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta’s service standards in all guest and client interactions.
• Respond to complaints and requests, ensuring corrective action for guest satisfaction.
• Clean and service rooms or areas to established standards (beds, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, etc.).
• Notify supervisor when service is complete so rooms can be sold or occupied.
• Assist with laundry duties: operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, and store clean items.
• Report damages or unsafe conditions to supervisor and participate in deep cleaning when needed.
