Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team. The role involves cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, following brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction, and possibly working in the laundry facility.

Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required. Qualifications include some housekeeping experience and fluency in English; basic reading, writing, and math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms and areas, including making beds and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Respond to guest requests and troubleshoot issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report any unserviceable rooms.
• Minimize waste and assist with deep cleaning projects when needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and maintain safety compliance in all tasks.
