Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Full-Time Guest Relations Supervisor to oversee daily department operations and staff. You will ensure compassionate patient, family, and visitor service while coordinating scheduling and training for Guest Relations Representatives and Specialists.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with preferred bachelor’s degree and one year of supervisory healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in healthcare, customer service, or social sciences preferred.
• Certified Notary Public required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the department.
• Acts as a professional role model to promote and resolve patient, family and visitor needs in a caring, responsive environment.
• Assists with orientation, scheduling training, and daily supervision of guests relations staff.
• Secures referrals, solutions and services to meet identified needs, including ADA/Title VI considerations.
• Monitors the department budget to ensure performance and productivity goals are achieved.
• Leads staff during internal/external disasters to provide emergency care and comfort.
• Works with management to implement inter-departmental programs for customer satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, DHSR, Health Department, System standards and documentation.
• Participates in surveys, visits, inquiries and hospital/community committees to promote satisfaction and quality assurance.
