Job summary

Milwaukee Brewers are seeking friendly Guest Relations staff to welcome fans at American Family Field. You will provide directions, event information and assistance, while ensuring a safe, family‑friendly experience.

The role involves standing, walking, and working in varying weather conditions during game schedules. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and will have 6–12 months of related experience, with a willingness to learn stadium policies and guest service programs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six to twelve months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with guests upon arrival and throughout their visit to ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Provide event information, directions, and guidance while ensuring compliance with stadium policies.
  • Operate a voice amplifier to deliver clear instructions to guests outside gates.
  • Monitor escalators and assist with wheelchair services and shuttle coordination.
  • Direct and manage queue formations at gate entrances and escalators.
  • Communicate with staff to coordinate safe entry into the ballpark for fans and guests.

Job description

The Milwaukee Brewers take pride in the excellent service we provide our fans and guests each and every time they come to a ballgame or event at American Family Field. Guest Relations staff are responsible for welcoming, greeting and/or providing stadium related information/assistance while offering the finest customer service to American Family Field guests. Guest Relations Staff Members have the possibility of working in various positions including Outside Greeter, Escalator Attendants, Wheelchair Attendants and Designated Driver Booth. This position does a great deal of walking, climbing stairs and standing on concrete surfaces in both cold and hot weather.

Core duties
  • Greet and positively engage with all guests upon arrival and throughout their visit at American Family Field to ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • Treat our guests with courtesy and respect and assist them to ensure their visit is safe, clean, fun, and family-friendly
  • Provide event information, general ballpark directions, instructions and guidance to all fans while ensuring fan compliance with American Family Field and MLB policies/procedures (i.e. screening procedures, prohibited items, special assistance options)
  • Operate a voice amplifier confidently to deliver clear instructions and guidance to guests outside of gates
  • Monitor and cover escalators to ensure guests safety during use
  • Operate Wheelchair Services and assist with coordination of Shuttle Services
  • Direct and maintain control over queue formations at gate entrances and escalators
  • Communicate with appropriate staff to coordinate optimal entrance into ballpark for fans and guests

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, as well as

  • Employees must communicate well and be friendly, knowledgeable, well-groomed, assertive and able to intervene in conflict situations
  • Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service to all fans and guests in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner
  • Must be available to attend training sessions, stadium tours and other events, as necessary, prior to beginning of the baseball season
  • Willing to learn and use programs on your computer and/or mobile phone to submit availability and complete necessary employment training
  • Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends during baseball season
  • Must be available to arrive up to three (3) hours prior to game time
  • Must be able to stand for up to five (5) hours at a time
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Hours vary according to the game and event schedule. Must be available to arrive up to three (3) hours prior to game time.,
