Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Raleigh, NC is seeking a friendly server to deliver food and beverages, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, explain specials, input orders into POS, and deliver meals with accuracy and speed.

You must follow liquor regulations, hold a Food Handler Card and a TABC license, and maintain clean, neat appearance. The role requires standing, moving, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of liquor regulations and responsible alcohol service.
• Current Food Handler Card or in process of certification.
• Hold a valid TABC license.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Basic English language knowledge to understand inquiries and communicate simple instructions.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials or promotions.
• Check station for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Record and repeat guest orders to ensure accuracy.
• Input orders into the POS system for kitchen execution.
• Retrieve and deliver orders with appropriate condiments to guests.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and ensure safe service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Assist bus staff with clearing and resetting tables.
• Complete side work and general cleaning as required.
• Present the check promptly and adhere to safety procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and comply with company policies.
• Assist other restaurant personnel when needed.
