Job summary
Espacio the Jewel of Waikiki is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and keep tools and equipment in top condition for a luxury resort. You will inspect systems, operate shut-offs, manage parts inventory, and coordinate with shifts to maintain high service standards.
Candidates should have basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, plus strong safety practices and flexibility to work evenings, weekends,
Qualifications
- Respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance.
- Inspect tools, equipment, and building systems and operate shut-offs.
- Maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed.
- Communicate daily activities across shifts using approved procedures.
- Perform painting, minor drywall repair, and general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest repair requests and coordinate with shifts.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Program TVs and manage engineering-related inventory duties.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures for maintenance work.
- Perform preventive maintenance and landscape upkeep as required.
