Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. in Honolulu, HI, is hiring for a Host/Hostess role. The host guides guests to their seats, manages wait times, and delivers a warm, guest-focused experience to ensure a smooth flow through the dining area.

No prior experience is required as we provide on-the-job training. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are offered to help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Excellent customer service and etiquette.
• Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Effective communication with guests and coworkers.
• Flexible to work various shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold our high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control.
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang's specifications.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conducts side-work as required for each shift.
