Job summary

SMI Security is seeking a Front Desk / Security Concierge Officer for a high-profile Brickell building in Miami, FL. The role requires greeting tenants and guests, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining a professional security presence during Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Ideal candidates will have a valid Florida Class D Security License, reliable and punctual work ethic, and the ability to work with the Building Security Supervisor and property management team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Prev. security/concierge/front desk experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and with Building Security Supervisor and management team.
• Comfortable interacting with tenants, executives, guests, vendors, and the general public.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.
• Must pass SMI onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and building staff.
• Greet and acknowledge tenants and guests professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security presence.
• Assist with general inquiries and direct to the correct location/department.
• Monitor and control building access according to procedures.
• Verify visitors and authorized personnel.
• Maintain awareness of lobby activity.
• Coordinate with Building Security Supervisor and management.
• Assist with visitor management and access procedures.
• Report issues to the supervisor and keep logs accurate.
• Maintain confidentiality of operations and tenants.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
