MGM Grand Detroit is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Representative to create exceptional guest experiences from the moment guests arrive. You'll welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and collaborate with housekeeping to meet guest needs.

The ideal candidate has guest service experience, strong listening skills, and proficiency with hotel software. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Strong listening skills to understand guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Comfortable and proficient in using hotel management software and front desk technology.
• Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the property and MGM Resorts family by providing memorable service.
• Manage early and late check‑ins/outs and walk-ins with a seamless, professional experience.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations and requests.
• Ensure correct charges and credits are posted; handle cash/credit transactions per procedures; balance cash and cash equivalents.
• Control and issue keys while maintaining guest privacy and security.
