Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Greenwood, IN. The role ensures equipment functions, premises are pristine, and guest rooms are in good repair. You will follow Green Shield Binder tasks, perform repairs, and perform preventative maintenance to uphold company standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, handling emergencies, and coordinating with vendors. Strong safety awareness and guest service focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Use units of measurement for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest and associate experience.
• Perform tasks to maintain property equipment and cleanliness per standards.
• Complete repairs from work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and follow scheduled workflows.
• Maintain records as outlined in the Green Shield Binder and protect tool inventory.
• Ensure safety equipment is operational and comply with safety policies.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with management and vendors.
