Job summary

Extended Stay America in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and property equipment in pristine condition. You will follow Green Shield Binder guidelines, complete preventive maintenance, perform repairs from work orders, and assist with safety inspections.

You will work with minimal supervision, respond to guest requests promptly, and maintain organized maintenance areas while coordinating with management and outside vendors when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and guest rooms are in good repair.
• Complete tasks per Green Shield Binder and management guidance.
• Respond to guest requests and follow through per procedures.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning and maintain premises.
• Perform repairs listed on work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records per Green Shield Binder (PM deficiencies, inspections).
• Maintain organized maintenance areas and safeguard tool inventory.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with outside vendors.
