Job summary

Front Porch Communities & Services is seeking a Food Server on an on-call, day-shift basis at Kingsley Manor. Under the supervision of the Dining Room Manager, you will interact with residents and staff to ensure a positive dining experience, taking orders, presenting menus, and aiding in food service with a friendly, efficient approach.

This role requires a Food Handlers’ certification and a willingness to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Some high school education or equivalent qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree is considered nonessential.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selections, and inform guests about food preparation details.
• Maintain tables, napkins, utensils, condiments, and assist with prep tasks as needed.
• Stay updated on current menu choices and specials to guide guests.
• Greet guests warmly and guide them to tables, ensuring a welcoming dining experience.
• Assist with events and cover shifts as needed.
