Job summary

Hilton Miami Blue Lagoon is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in accordance with brand standards while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. You will ensure timely service by organizing stations and following standardized recipes.

The role requires a friendly, guest-focused attitude with flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. Training and certification opportunities are provided to support career growth within the hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen setting (preferred).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
• Provide friendly service with a smile to guests.
• Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to brand standards and guidelines.
• Food Safety Certification: Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers Safety Training, etc.).
• Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas.
• Organization: Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening to ensure timely service.
• Safety: Know location and operation of all safety equipment.
• Food Handling: Assist in storage and rotation of food items per hotel procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
