Lowes Foods is seeking a friendly bakery clerk to greet guests, assist with product preparation and maintain quality and freshness of bakery items. You will handle icing, decorating, packing, labeling, and ensure cleanliness in the cooler, freezer, prep, and sales areas.

Responsibilities include rotating products, communicating guest requests to management, and supporting cake production with color mixing and decorating tasks.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform bakery clerk functions when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Clean work area, couplers and decorating bags.
• Rotate ice creams and items in the freezer area as required by variety.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Rotate icings and read dates on icings.
• Use cake production sheet and cake manual as references.
• Write on cakes and mix colors according to color chart.
• Master the airbrush tool for cake decoration.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the bakery section.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
