Responsibilities

• Provide a superior service experience that satisfies guests and reflects First Bank & Trust’s culture and commitment to the communities we serve.
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships that are profitable to the bank while minimizing risk; sales aptitude is a plus.
• Perform teller functions: deposits, withdrawals, payments; balance cash drawer; report suspicious activity; assist with branch hardware.
• Anticipate client needs and advise on beneficial solutions.
• Assist in opening new accounts and establishing relationships.
• Educate clients on the bank’s products and processes to meet needs.
• Coordinate with Retail Banking Supervisor/Manager to align daily work with goals; collaborate with colleagues to meet client needs.
• Monitor deposit and credit portfolios for quality and risk; pursue collections if needed.
• Adhere to bank policies and participate in required compliance training and meetings.
