Job summary

The First National Bank in Sioux Falls is seeking a Teller to handle a variety of customer transactions with accuracy and courtesy, in person, at the drive-thru, and by phone.

You will build relationships, promote bank products, and maintain cash drawers while following security procedures and quality standards. This on-site role supports our community with friendly, world-class service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy in transactions.
• Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and security procedures.
• Ability to build relationships and cross-sell bank products when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Sales and Service program of the department when working with customers.
• Provide friendly and helpful service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, checks, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers and ensure proper currency and coin counts.
• Develop knowledge of bank products to assist customers with inquiries and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Utilize banking software and systems for processing transactions and accessing account information.
• Represent the bank positively in the community and encourage prospects to become customers.
