Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping service stations stocked. Excellent guest service and teamwork are essential.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; you must be 18+, hold a Food Handler’s Card where applicable, and be able to stand and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced setting. We offer great benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line and run trays for dine-in service.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating and floors per standards.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of concerns.
• Follow company policies, dress code and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders.
