Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, maintaining clean stations, and helping with dining room duties.

Excellent guest service is expected in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No experience is required as training is provided; you must be at least 18 and able to stand for extended periods. The role offers competitive pay with tips, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement at participating

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and courteously.
• Monitor the expo line, run trays for dine-in.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of issues.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packing takeout orders when necessary.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
