Job summary

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is seeking a friendly restaurant server to greet guests, take orders, and assist with dining room operations. You will explain menu items, offer recommendations, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of meals and beverages.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and multitasking abilities with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of POS systems and alcohol service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have an Alcohol Service Licensing or certification.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS – Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Provide menus and recommend food and beverage selections.
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery.
• Stay updated on menu items and daily specials.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
