Job summary

SSA Group at Waimea Valley Gift Shop in Haleiwa, Hawaii, is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver friendly guest service, merchandise effectively, and support daily operations.

You will work with the Retail Supervisor and management to ensure accurate cash handling, stock display, and a clean, inviting shop environment while promoting SSA’s sustainability initiatives and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and independently.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge with POS systems and Excel.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill guest’s needs quickly and efficiently.
• Inform leadership when items are low and pull/fill items with warehouse.
• Relay customer feedback to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Stock supplies and keep displays neat and organized.
• Maintain balanced cash drawer as assigned.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales.
• Increase sales through promotions or suggestive selling.
• Support Sustainability/Conservation efforts and community engagement.
• Other duties as assigned.
