Job summary

Hollywood Casino Morgantown is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and the facility. You will perform security duties, follow PGCB procedures, and monitor entry points and behavior to prevent loss and maintain a secure environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to read and write simple communications, and a valid driver's license. Training and clear expectations will support upholding our customer service standards and corporate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete duties to comply with PGCB mandated requirements, including gaming related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection and destruction, and transporting documents to the Chip Bank.
• Protect guests, property, and staff from harm or loss through alertness and proactive security measures.
• patrol buildings and grounds, stand watch at assigned posts, and oversee guest safety and comfort.
• Inspect entry points to ensure security, conduct equipment and facility checks, and report irregularities such as fire hazards or unlocked doors.
• Guard against theft of company property and maintain professional interaction with guests and staff.
