Job summary

PENN Entertainment’s Hollywood Casino Morgantown is seeking a Security Officer to monitor safety conditions, control access to back-of-house, and assist during emergencies. The role requires alertness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with basic fire safety knowledge and the ability to communicate in English. Valid driver’s license and PA Gaming Commission licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and ability to read and write simple correspondence.
• Must communicate effectively in English with customers and employees.
• Knowledge of basic fire fighting techniques and safety procedures.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet PA Gaming Control Board requirements.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily and weekly inspections of safety conditions and notifies departments to take corrective action.
• Monitors life safety equipment and ensures proper functioning of detectors and extinguishers.
• Controls access through main employee/service entrance and validates credentials.
