Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races is seeking a Security Officer to safely protect guests, employees, and property on HCCTR premises. You will greet patrons, inspect bags, and report incidents to a Security supervisor while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

The role requires 21+ years of age, the ability to work varied shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commissions.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact well with customers and employees.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of employees and others.
• Greets patrons and visually inspects bags, purses and patrons for unauthorized items.
• Reports to the Security supervisor any violations or situations detrimental to HCCTR.
• Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information within the Security department.
• Prepares reports as requested or required.
