Job summary

Colony Grill in Shelton is seeking a friendly bartender to join our team as we prepare to reopen. You will warmly welcome guests, explain menu items, and work the bar and lounge with a focus on hospitality and a memorable dining experience.

As a key member of our service team, you will operate the POS system, handle orders and payments, and collaborate with front- and back-of-house staff to ensure each guest receives excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work shifts up to 10 hours.
• 100% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up lounge and bar for each shift.
• Inform customers about items, ingredients, portions, and prices; make recommendations.
• Operate the POS system and ensure proper order entry and updated tabs.
• Enter orders promptly and ensure items are rung and tabs updated.
• Confirm daily menu items and updates.
• Manage cash drawer during shift.
