Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa seeks a friendly Barista to deliver quick, efficient service to guests and associates on-site. You will restock merchandize, keep the coffee bar clean, and ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to food handling standards and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service, cash handling experience, and familiarity with MICROS POS. Shifts include weekends and holidays; the environment is fast-paced and guest-focused at Omni Amelia

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience; food/beverage or retail preferred.
• Cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience required.
• Ability to input information accurately into MICROS POS; perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Listen to concerns from guests and staff and respond appropriately.
• Maintain professionalism in all situations; handle high-pressure moments.
• Keep lobby areas clean and coordinate with housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with monthly inventory and maintain a clean workstation.
• Process payments and manage cash bank; verify room charges when applicable.
• Interact with other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines.
