Job summary

JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, located in Paso Robles, seeks a hospitality-focused team member to welcome guests, manage reservations, and assist in tastings and events. The role involves promoting wine and merchandise, handling transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Flexibility for weekends and evenings is needed to support busy winery operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in hospitality or customer service, with certifications in RBS and Food Handling

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
• RBS and Food Handler Certifications required, or must be willing to complete certifications independently and at personal cost shortly upon hire
• Basic knowledge of wines and the wine-making process (willingness to learn is a plus)
• Proficiency with reservation software and basic office tools; Tock, Commerce 7
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail to ensure areas and dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Guest Reception and Engagement: Welcome guests, answer questions, guide to tasting areas or events
• Reservation Management: Handle inquiries, schedule and confirm bookings
• Tasting Room Support: Set up and organize the tasting room and assist tastings
• Retail and Sales Assistance: Promote and process wine/merchandise sales
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain reservation records and handle guest feedback
• Event Support: Assist winery-hosted events and provide logistics support
