Job summary

Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Guest Experience Cashier to process admissions and services at the park’s ticketing system while delivering friendly, helpful service to every visitor.

You will assist guests with questions and information about events, animals and activities, verify tickets, and support access control with a focus on safety and accuracy. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• One year or more of customer service experience preferred.
• Clear and professional communication and attitude.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process payments for admissions and services using a computer-based ticketing system.
• Assist guests with questions, park information, and accessibility needs to enhance their visit.
• Verify tickets for type, time and date to ensure proper admission.
• Organize information for groups/individuals picking up tickets.
• Provide access control for designated animal exhibits and yard areas as needed.
• Maintain safety and assist supervisor with any safety concerns.
